My Approach
I'm a KPA Certified Training Partner with a background in biology and 9 years of veterinary experience, giving me a science-based understanding of animal behavior and health. I believe good training begins with strong foundations: clear communication, realistic expectations about timeline and progress, and respect for the dog in front of us. My work focuses on helping dogs and their people build confidence and practical life skills at a steady, thoughtful pace.
I use positive reinforcement and clicker training to build skills through clear communication and trust, never relying on fear, pain, or intimidation. In addition to foundational training, I support a limited number of behavior cases involving fear, anxiety, and everyday challenges. I work within my scope and prioritize ethical, force-free methods, and I’m always honest about whether I’m the right fit.
